Foot

Wanna hear a funny story?

Yesterday, I went out with some friends to a pub, had a couple of beers, as well as a lovely time.

When I got home, I was in a fabulous mood. I was singing my favourite Christmas carol, and I thought to myself, "you know what would both express my cheer and look really cool? One of those spinning flip things."

It started out really well. My feet were off the ground, I was twirling through the air. "I am awesome!"

My boyfriend was in the washroom at the time. As he was washing his hands, he heard a thud, followed by a plaintive cry.

"Owwww... owwwww..."

"Are you okay?"

"... owwww..."

I had landed on my foot funny. There was a crack, and I collapsed, along with my delusions of awesomeness.  Luckily, my foot is not broken, but it is sprained pretty badly. I can't put any weight on it, and it currently looks like this:
My foot, with an epic bruise
Lesson: two beers do not enable me to dance the hopak.

I so entirely relate to Allie Brosh right now.

  1. I totally understand. It's like the time when I thought it would be a good idea to do a no-handed cartwheel even though I didn't even know how to do a 2-handed cartwheel.

Don't be an obvious troll!

I would prefer if you don't post as "Anonymous". You don't have to sign in to comment, so just pick a name and stick with it. Just so that I can have a better idea of who's commenting. Thanks!
